We finished watching “River, Season 1” last night. We are grieving that there were no more seasons. Brilliant series.

However, I had previously been hooked on Jeff Goldblum’s Raines, and I realized I may have a weakness for mysteries with ghosts.
@mbkriegh my wife loves Jeff Goldblum… you may have given us our next binge… but on River, Rotten Tomatoes critics were in 100% agreement and the audience in something like 97% agreement that it was great.
@mbkriegh River was amazing. I love Stellan Skarsgård and Nicola Walker so much. Have you seen Unforgotten, in which she’s the lead? Brilliant and more than one season!
@jean I love them both too. We first ran into Nicola Walker in Last Tango in Halifax, a good series that falls apart at the end. And Stellan Skarsgard is, as you say, amazing. The season finale of River was amazing. The love between the two finally manifest. At any rate, we have another series to watch. Thank you!
