OK, I haven't read the study, but the conclusion is interesting. BMD = Bone Mineral Density — Longitudinal Association of Coffee and Tea Consumption with Bone Mineral Density in Older Women

Conclusions: Tea consumption was associated with higher total hip BMD in postmenopausal women, whereas excessive coffee intake (>5 cups/day) may adversely affect BMD. Coffee consumption was negatively associated with femoral neck BMD in women with higher alcohol intake, while tea consumption appeared particularly beneficial for those with obesity.

Drink tea! 😆

@Miraz To be fair, I think someone consuming more than 5 cups of coffee per day has several problems! 😆

@Miraz With all the studies showing the benefits of coffee, I try to hedge my bets and drink both in substantial amounts.

@Miraz well, there you go. I've been a tea drinker all my life and had to give up coffee (1-2 cups a day) back in 2016!

@alexandra Also a tea drinker all my life (born in England, so, of course). Haven’t drunk coffee since, ummm, 1981-ish.

@ReaderJohn if you’re drinking >5 cups of coffee per day then you should have enough energy to find a way!
