I'm a guitarist and educator. I grew up in the north but now live in the south. My day job is as a professor at a smallish Christian liberal-arts university where I teach guitar, ear training, improvisation, and music technology. Outside of music, I read a lot about technology and culture, some amount of fiction, and I'm a hobbyist handtool woodworker. I also have three small children with whom I do a lot of bike riding.
