🔎 just saw a fawn running and play-bowing like it was a puppy! (It was to the edge of the pond where there were some geese).

@toddgrotenhuis There’s nothing quite like seeing a deer at play, especially the young ones! But where are you that you’re seeing a fawn so early? Or is it one born last spring?

@Denny I’m in central Indiana. Maybe “fawn” is not technically accurate, but it was one of the small deer, not full size. Maybe it’s a “yearling”?

@toddgrotenhuis Now that I think about it, perhaps they should keep their fawn status up till the time that the current year’s fawns are born. Then they graduate to yearling? Ignore my previous comment. 😂
