After three years of feeling rather lost and confused about my past and uncertain about my future, I have lately had the feeling of returning…like I was gone for a while, even longer than the last three years. It is a strange feeling, but one that I am happy about.

@aa Three years? Have I been on MB that long?

Time heals wounds. A good relationship with your son almost certainly helps.

@mbkriegh it is! it, the feeling, hit me when I was getting out of my car one day this past week and it made me smile. Hard to describe what it is, but it is something.

@ReaderJohn Time does, you are right. I've heard that said before but never fully believed it or understood. I know I am still early on in the healing process at a very high level, but hitting this particular milestone, whatever it is, is a nice break from how the past has been. And yes! the relationship I have with Mozzie is a huge part of this!
