@jabel I went dumbphone from March-September of this year then switched back to a very dumbed down (and old) iPhone. It seems to have done the trick, the itch to pull the thing out is much reduced, and I’m ready to switch back if it returns.

@isaacgreene Did you follow a dumbing-down protocol from somewhere you can link to? Or just extreme simplification?

@ablerism nothing too rigorous, the main thing I did was take my work email off (highly recommend if you can). I think the main vector of change has been me. 6 months of not picking the dang thing up all the time really helped.
