Every 3rd of July my Feedbin subscription is up for renewal. Since July 2013, I have relied on this service and happily pay the price of admission for a products that continues to improve year on year for the same price. Best RSS reader on the market.

@kaa been thinking seriously about making the switch from FeedWrangler, which I’ve been paying for since Google Reader went away. It hasn’t changed one bit since I started paying for it, though to be fair it’s not really meant as a front end the way Feedbin is.

@bradbarrish The Feedbin blog is proof of the ongoing care that Ben puts into his product. And it fully supports Micro.blog which is awesome. I’ve not bought a Mac RSS reader because there is no need, the native web is awesome.

@kaa yeah, that’s my thinking, but I really don’t mind paying a few bucks for the indie developers that build apps for macOS. Unread is my go-to on iOS. So great. Supports Feedbin as well.

@Kordumb @kaa Some of the things that really make Feedbin stand out for me are:

  1. Ability to subscribe to newsletters through Feedbin to get them out of my email.
  2. Being able to add twitter feeds / lists / hashtags to view within my feeds.
  3. It shows you post frequency per feed.
  4. Actions that allow you to setup filters, alerts, etc.
  5. It has a 🍔 icon! 😃

@Kordumb Simply, its supporting Ben. I like those individuals that have a vision and are looking to last the test of time. The product continues to evolve, year on year. Similar to other services I support like Micro.blog, Pinboard, Blot and a plethora of apps on my phone and computer, its belief in the people.
