New feature: Blog Audit: manton.org

@manton This looks wonderful. Appreciate how you keep adding value to the Premium subscription tier. I just started the audit and it looks like it will help me clean up some of my old blog posts and Instagram images I imported.

@manton Thank you! It’s fixing things left and right on my blogs. A very nice tool.

@Cliff538 That’s great to hear!

@bobwertz Thanks! Let me know how it goes and what improvements we can make. I’d like to do more with copying restored images so it’s easier to consolidate them in one place.

@manton Looks great! 🤩

@manton I couldn’t believe when I heard about this, how wonderful and great! 👌

Still, is there any chance to add a check on broken HTML (invalid or deprecated tags, unclosed containers, etc.)? Especially older blogs—from before Markdown became the standard—suffer from this.

@renevanbelzen Thanks! I like that idea of checking old, invalid HTML markup. There are even some things we could “repair” to simple Markdown for easier editing later.

@manton This feature is fabulous. I have 781 posts, the majority moved from WordPress. There’s plenty to fix… 43 broken links, 45 missing descriptions and 0 missing paths… plus a couple of plug-ins. I doubt I could have ever found these manually.

@billbennettnz So glad it is useful!
