Sort of paradoxically, the more I consider how AI will change the web, the more clear it becomes how to build features that keep the humanity in what we create. Take almost anything that AI is good at, but not as good as a human, and then make it much easier to do that thing the old-fashioned way.

@manton At this point I don’t have a concrete idea of what this becomes, but i use it routinely to figure out answers to technology i’m not fully conversant in, like SQL and CSS. I don’t think I’ll ever understand CSS, which has to be the worst designed piece of crap i’ve ever encountered, but you have to use it, and having an expert always available has been a godsend. That much I know it’s made all the difference in.
