@macgenie It was great to get the perspective of an old timer, quite excellent! Very notable quote: "I was expecting a blogging platform and instead it was a blogging community and that surprised me. And that's a good thing, which is different from what I was expecting!"

@macgenie @dori It was great to hear a perspective from an “old hand” at this whole Internet thing (and, beyond that, this software thing); it feels like lots of things these days are being “governed”/driven by people who’ve only been on the web 5 years or less and sorely lack all of that perspective. Lots of quotable bits, but I really liked how the blog was the place for all the writing no one would pay you for ;-)

@dori Also, @macgenie has plenty of experience with technical issues; she had to deal with all manner of them with me, too!
