@crossingthethreshold that’s odd. Because I do have it disabled on my site and it shows the categories. Did you try a rebuild after turning it off?

@crossingthethreshold Something for sure is weird with the archive pages. Even my customizations with the archive page have been overridden. Basically irrespective of whether theme provides the page, it is loading one from default. This looks to be a similar issue with @pratik and @gaby.

Any idea @manton? Has anything changed?

@crossingthethreshold @amit Sorry, something did change and I had meant to automatically adapt plug-ins and must’ve missed it. The Archive and Photos pages now store their layout in the “layouts/_default” folder. If you move the template there, let me know if that fixes it. (I’ll be adding some code to move templates automatically in the future.)

@manton I suppose this is related: A day or two ago I noticed that my Archive and Photos pages were blank. The pages showed up but with no content. Was using Tufte. I switched to a different theme for the time being. It’s not affecting the Lanyon theme. @pimoore: When I visit your site I do not see content on your Archive page, so it’s affecting Tufte. I thought it was just me for some reason. @pratik @amit

@dandycat @pratik Copy your template to the new location: “layouts/_default/list.archivehtml.html” (note the “_default” in the path that’s new). I’ll be migrating everything automatically soon, but you can copy/paste your own template in the meantime.

@pimoore I’ve finished the change and it’ll apply to all themes and plug-ins.

@pimoore Yes, it’ll take affect next time you post or change something. Shoot me an email if it’s not working.

@crossingthethreshold it should work now. Don’t think you need to do anything.

@manton Just to confirm, should I apply the fix to the theme? I mean move the Archive page to _default folder? Or with your change, there’s no need for that?
