@jean thanks for the heads up. I don’t know either. Funny thing is I’m using @gluon to type my posts as usual, and based on your comment, I’ve just checked my post on web, and both mentions, including the one @vincent, are linked there…

@jean I have noticed that if a post is > 280 characters, the @ mention doesn’t show a link on the timeline. This is an Mb thing, I think. On the actual blog, it is shown as a hyperlink though. @vincent @danielsantos

@vincent When posts are truncated after 280 characters on the Mb timeline, it strips away the formatting on the characters that do show up. I wish it were not that way (not sure technically how possible that is). Also, yeah, if you mention someone after those 280 characters, they get notified. I have missed a few that way and people have wondered why I haven’t commented or responded.

@vincent I did hear about “the list” yesterday 😆 but believe it or not, I wasn’t the one making most of the feature requests in the group that met. @manton can confirm. I’m not naming names though.

@pratik @vincent I can confirm that. Surprised I didn’t leave the meetup with a long list of feature requests. 🙂 As for the notifications… I think it’s confusing to get a mention if you can’t see your name in the timeline post, and we also want to avoid spammers @-mentioning everyone in a long post. Needs some tweaking.
