Downloaded Drafts 5 to give it a go. Any hints for a new user?

@philbowell Every time you think of writing something, open the app and start. Once I started using it for email, Twitter, notes, karaoke lyrics… I realized how frictionlessly it fit into my workflow.

@philbowell Start in Drafts. Everything text based. You can send it wherever it needs to go after you've written it, leave it in the app - anything. Also, the dictation is really handy, especially if you have an Apple Watch!

@macgenie good to know. I’ll give that a try, might take some training to not go to the app relating to the action I’m going to do though.

@rosemaryorchard thanks, I’ll give that approach a go. Unfortunately no Apple Watch here so not sure how much I’ll use the dictation.

@philbowell have a browse of the actions directory to see what it can do in case that inspires. And I can’t echo enough the point about always using it as a starting point.

@colinwalker thanks Colin, hadn’t realised there was a directory and took me a bit of tapping around the app to find it but got there in the end. I’ll have a browse.

@philbowell You can use it in the app too, force touch the app icon, the create new draft icon (+)/long press on an iPad, and you're off dictating :)

@philbowell One thing I learned from @merlinmann: if you need to send an email, and you don't want to get sidetracked by your inbox, write it and send in Drafts without ever opening your email app.
