@vincent There may be some data loss? I'm noticing a bug in a "conversation" in my timeline vs the actual replies on my microblog. On my micro.blog hosted blog there is a reply from Miraz, but in the timeline when I click conversation I get taken to a completely other conversation not attached to my post. Not sure where or how to show this.
@vincent okay yeah, I just opened the link in an incognito window and get the same thing. The link is micro.blog/anniegree... which should be my "Day tripping." post (https://micro.anniegreens.lol/2023/11/09/day-tripping.html) but results in some random Fediverse conversation. /cc @manton
@anniegreens @vincent Speaking of which: my post with the photo of the hen garnered some replies and shows up on my blog and its RSS feed but never appeared on the Timeline as far as I could see…
@anniegreens Looking into this. I think you're right, hopefully I can piece it back together.
@anniegreens @vincent I've fixed the issue going forward and I should be able to correct the other conversation links too, although it might take a little while. Sorry about this!
@manton no problem, just wanted to point it out, I hope you feel better and take it easy! safe journeys home
@manton Hey, sorry to tack on here more, perhaps I should create a help ticket instead. There still appears to be some "conversation" issues. This one is a new one and perhaps unrelated to the other, but I'm not sure. If you think it is I will definitely move this to a new post on the help center.
In my post yesterday I got a reply from my share on mstdn.social, so not directly to the original micro.blog post, and it shows as being "authored" by me. It brings the other user's avatar over correctly and if you click on the post date it takes you to the correct user's comment, but the name next to the avatar says it is me.
Here is the micro.blog post: micro.anniegreens.lol/2023/11/1... and the reply is shown at the bottom with incorrect name, and the actual reply on Mastodon: mstdn.social/@redcrew/...
@anniegreens Sorry, if you don’t mind copy/paste what you just wrote into an email and I will follow up today. That’ll help me keep track of it.
@anniegreens Thanks again for your patience. I believe this is a different bug, and I should be able to fix it and correct the data. Will still follow up in email.
