Day tripping. The street I grew up on. The house is off-frame to the right, my car sits in the not-very-used parking area that is mostly moss and grass. And the entire scene is surrounded by trees of all kinds, some turning lovely fall color, most losing leaves, and many evergreens just doing their ever-green thing. One of the Japanese Maples in my parents' garden that has turned the most brilliant red I think I've ever seen before. Surrounded by towering oak trees, fir trees, cedars, and their many many rhododendron shrubs.Below the Japanese Maple tree a single red leaf lays on top of oodles of brown oak leaves and other leaves from other trees in the area. micro.anniegreens.lol

@anniegreens Such a beautiful place but such very difficult thoughts to go along with it. I hope some solution becomes clear to you.

Sorry if you're trying to load that, as I'm sure everyone is 🙄, micro.blog has been having some issues the last few days. Not my fault. Hopefully this will get resolved, otherwise I may move the post to my weblog.

I have yet more photos from yesterday that did not make it into my microblog post. I will work on putting some into a post here tonight!

Less trees, more other things 😉
