@manton The trademark issue might be key: trademarks only expire if the trademark holders don’t defend them. Lawyers always insist that trademarks be defended because if not then anyone can use the trademarked I.P., sometimes in intentionally misleading ways.

@ayjay That’s true. In this case, I don’t think Apple as a company actually cares. They didn’t renew the trademark and they let a dozen apps in the store with the same name.

@manton I have this app via TestFlight so very happy. When you say removed from
All store fronts except US does that mean it will never come out in the UK App Store? If it gets through this process at all

@adamprocter US-only is purely a temporary measure to get the app approved, to simplify what Apple was confused by. There’s no reason it can’t be approved worldwide later.
