Hmm I think @manton and @danielpunkass should be much harder on Apple, if they use this excuse to leave the EU myself and many other 30+ year Apple fanatics will switch platforms. The EU is actually trying to protect people against corporations monopolies that destroy markets.
The Digital Markets Act establishes a set of clearly defined objective criteria to qualify a large online platform as a “gatekeeper” and ensures that they behave in a fair way online and leave room for contestability.
