@johnjohnston good shout my Mac and phone are so notification noisey with pandemic and so many tabs 🤦🏻‍♂️ my pop Linux box was my cure but I’ve not been dedicated Enough. Have been starting to find the I’m away options in apps and DND turned on helps until I forget I had it on and would have happily read a message 🤣

@adamprocter I am definitely far to reactive. Teaching at a distance turns out to involve a lot more anxiety than I thought.

@johnjohnston I use different email clients for work and private (both on macOS and iOS) + no automatic checking of email on iOS and most notifications turned off. That fixes things for me. Congratulations on the new iPad ... sad to say that mine got a screen crack recently 😕

@jemostrom luckily we use FirstClass, anyone remember that, for work e-mail and I’ll not install that.

@johnjohnston Is that the same FirstClass that used to be BBS software back in the 90s? I ran a FirstClass BBS for a short time. Fun!

@johnjohnston 😋 it was used here when my kids were in kindergarten ... they are now 22 and 25 😜

@jemostrom @jack OpenText FirstClass not sure about the BBS but is it an old bit of software. Interface we use is pretty dated. There might be an modern html front end.
