Today is the day I submit my resignation. I’ve been with this company for 10 years but the time has for me to move on. It was never intended to be a 10-year-job and I don’t regret it, but taking my leather business full-time is what I need to do next 🙂

@fgtech hey, all good, I probably should have scheduled a video call to talk through some of the details, may have been more helpful. Reach out when you get a chance and we can pick up where we left off or start from scratch if needed!

@ReaderJohn thank you! And yes, been building it up on the side for three or so years now…the time is now right for it to become my primary focus :-)

@cdevroe the dye colors shown in the product listing are what I can currently dye by hand. If none of those hit the mark we could look into using leather paint, which has an obnoxious amount of options to choose from :-) here’s where I get my paint from if you want to take a look at the colors they offer. Let me know!

@aa I would love to commission and old-style leather saddlebag for my bicycle but I know that shipping and customs would more than I can stand.

@aa Perhaps I'm using the wrong word... I figured "tan" was what was done to a leather. I wouldn't want one to be dyed. I'd like a strap that was the color "tan" that you have for the cigar pouches, not blue.

@cdevroe Ah, got it. The cigar cases are drum-dyed at the tannery. For the "tan" that I have available for hand-dyed goods, the color "Walnut" is the closest match. Let me know if you have any other questions!

@cdevroe quick followup, the drum-dyed leather is a pull-up leather which is good for cigar cases and similar items but not so much for straps...thus hand-dying those is required so that a stronger leather can be used.
