I wonder if the audio fileformat somehow influences whether the player will work with VoiceOver on mobile both of the microcasts I’ve published were in mp3, I’ll try ‘m4a next time and see if it matters.
@SteveSawczyn Doesn't seem like that would matter. Micro.blog does prefer MP3 everywhere for podcasts, though.
@manton Hmm, I wouldn't think it would matter either, I'm just not sure what else to try. VoiceOver sees the control just fine, it just can't activate it. And only on mobile safari, it's fine en OSX Safari.
@manton Wouldn't be an ideal solution, but wonder if I can just add a direct link to the uploaded audio file -- would micro.blog allow that or would it get all confused and embed the player twice?
@SteveSawczyn It won't be get confused. You can definitely add an extra link right to the MP3, in addition to the embed.
@manton Yay, until a better solution can be found, that works fine. Just tested with my last post which I edited.
