see this cross post in the conversation ... the little image is the featured image on the original post - how can I make it larger - OR - not have it - since as it stands - it looks like an error.
@JohnPhilpin I also get this behavior on some posts and not others and would like to know what the trigger is so I can make it not happen.
@JohnPhilpin @philipbrewer If a post has a title and photos, Micro.blog tries to add a tiny thumbnail of the photos along with the title in the timeline. This was designed for longer posts that have multiple photos, to give a preview of what is in the full post.
@manton so it is not because it is a featured image - it is picking the photo up from the post itself ..
Feature request please … give writer the option to have it appear as an unreadable blob, not at all or as a real image that adds color to the entry.
@manton On my screen at least, the tiny photo is so small as to give no sense of what's in the post, so (as @JohnPhilpin says) it looks like an error. But it's good to know what's going on—thank you!
@philipbrewer @JohnPhilpin Thanks for the feedback. I agree it does look better for some posts than others.
@rnv I do think it's a little inconsistent, so there may be a bug, but I don't think it's strictly about the beginning or end of a post. I'll double-check this and see if there's anything to fix. Thanks!
