see this cross post in the conversation ... the little image is the featured image on the original post - how can I make it larger - OR - not have it - since as it stands - it looks like an error.
@JohnPhilpin I also get this behavior on some posts and not others and would like to know what the trigger is so I can make it not happen.
@JohnPhilpin @philipbrewer If a post has a title and photos, Micro.blog tries to add a tiny thumbnail of the photos along with the title in the timeline. This was designed for longer posts that have multiple photos, to give a preview of what is in the full post.
@manton so it is not because it is a featured image - it is picking the photo up from the post itself ..
Feature request please … give writer the option to have it appear as an unreadable blob, not at all or as a real image that adds color to the entry.
@manton On my screen at least, the tiny photo is so small as to give no sense of what's in the post, so (as @JohnPhilpin says) it looks like an error. But it's good to know what's going on—thank you!

@philipbrewer I think the trigger may be if the picture(s) is at the very beginning of the post. I’ve had several longer posts recently with pictures, but the pics appeared after some text. In the post in question by @JohnPhilpin, the picture is at the very beginning. Is that right, @manton?
@rnv I do think it's a little inconsistent, so there may be a bug, but I don't think it's strictly about the beginning or end of a post. I'll double-check this and see if there's anything to fix. Thanks!
@JohnPhilpin Heh! And I’ll be doing some “tests,” because I’m drafting a few longer “titled” posts which will include pictures, to go up in the next few days. (And it sounds like @manton will be poking around under the hood, too.)
