@manton I’m trying to build out something using the bookmarks RSS feed, but the content of that feed actually shows a duplicate of every item. Appears it’s loading the original item AND the archived item for every bookmark. Anyway that can be changed?

@Mtt Yes, that was on purpose but I'm realizing that it's not ideal... How would you prefer it work, a single item with or without the archived text?

@manton I think without archived makes the most sense for RSS specifically. I like having archives inside m.b though.

@manton I’d put in a vote for changing this also. I like running my bookmarks through NetNewsWire and processing them from there. I don’t have a preference on archived text.

@manton Oh, this is why my bookmarks show up twice in NetNewsWire… I'd prefer ony a single item please.

@manton Bringing up an old (minor) issue. Is there now a way where we can get a bookmarks feed that doesn't show duplicate items?

My goal: Create a page on a site that shows all bookmarks in reverse chronological order. Similar to a public Pinboard page.

@Mtt No change on the feed yet, but if you want a page to show the bookmarks, I'm pretty sure this plug-in weeds out the duplicates automatically: github.com/svendahls...

@manton Ha. Thanks. I saw that plugin and assumed it was for showing individual bookmarks. My mistake on that. Leave it to @sod to have already worked it out.
