@marmanold I can post all my thoughts, but in short America needs the Gospel and rekindling of churches that look like the church in Acts. Sorry big churches, but driving 25 mins or more to a private campus where my family is split up by age or gender or material status and taught from packaged lessons (some which are very good for personal growth) does not have the same impact on my immediate neighborhood and community. In other words, the remote campus doesn't a stake in my community. They might as well be a gated community. Sorry small churches that have also followed that model to look like the big churches. Hats off to church plants doing whole family studies in homes, gyms, schools, ymca, and bars (yep, one I know, they've moved a couple times and might be close to a long term home now). Hats off to the small churches still engaged in their community and the big churches starting small neighborhood satellites. That's the best we've got. Again, be glad to share more, if you'd like.
