This quarter’s Plough has, in just the first few pages, brought some good deep thinking about a theology of work. Great to see serious alternatives to the Protestant view of vocation so deeply bound to the American experience.
@marmanold that was really good! I've been thinking similar thoughts. If I do the best I can, does it really matter what I'm doing 8-5 every day? We have so many choices of vocation, yet many centuries of Christians didn't. In fact, I think we have too many choices. A large college in our state boasts of 2,500 degree and certificate options!
