@vincent Thanks for sharing. I'm hoping to make some mobile companion apps for @guildflow and will be going Native on both. SwiftUI stuffs for iOS and Kotlin for Android. Itβs a massive undertaking but a good investment I hope.
Best of luck!
@vincent thank you. Gluon is my favorite "social" app even if I don't post as much as I want to. I'm excited for the future of this app!
@vincent Thanks for the update. I'm excited to see what you do with Gluon across all platforms in the future.
@vincent I didnβt understand all of that - my lack of knowledge in the area, not your explaining π - but a big thank you for Gluon and all your work on the app.
@vincent I really appreciate how thoughtful you are about all this, and that your care comes from wanting to provide a great experience for the people who use your apps.
@vincent As a dialy user, this is awesome news. (Well, for those of us who don't have to rewrite an already great app.π )
@vincent Very exciting news! And interesting to read the process that led you to the conclusion of Swift/SwiftUI. I wish you the best in making this transition, and Iβm a bit awestruck about all that youβve managed to do already! π€©Keep on rocking! π₯³
@zorn Thank you Michael. Best of look with your projects too. I'm sure you mentioned Flutterr at some stage too.
@jpayne Thanks so much John! I'm really happy to hear it and can't wait to bring an even better app for you π
@manton Thanks for this Manton. I do have that bookmarked from @cheesemaker's announcement haha. I'm going to see if I can perhaps contribute to it also... maybe I'll start with the Swift Package Manager integration. Although, I'm certainly eyeing the MicroPub and XML-RPC posting π π
@crossingthethreshold Thanks so very much David. That really makes me happy π I need to make more non-technical posts in future perhaps haha.
@macgenie Thanks so much Jean π As Tron says: "I fight for the user" haha. I think Gluon has come far enough to deserve this. Can't wait to have it at a state where it's ready to share and bring continued improvements.
@gregmoore Thanks so much Greg! I'm also a daily user hurhur π€ͺ! Yeah, it's going to be a journey and a half but it's going to be totally worth it. Excited.
@odd Thank you so very much Odd, appreciate it π Can't wait to share the joruney too. Usual blog posts etc!
@hall thanks David! Certainly will have much better integration with iOS going forward with the new Gluon π
@dominikhoecht keep a lookout for the Gluon beta (2020.5). Should improve a few things. More to do though of course π€
@dominikhoecht more to come Dominik π This was just my first initial exploration into code clean up etc. And thanks π
