@Burk ππΌ I actually like code in email or text message to login. Easier than remembering passwords.
@Burk as a developerβ love a magic link. Iβll never let users set passwords again. Itβs log in with Google/Microsoft/whatver oauth or openid provider or magic link for life.
@Burk For me πππ because password manager.
For most people, π because itβs better than their child / dog / cat / birthdate.
@Burk nobody seems to be in the π€·ββοΈ or π₯ camps.

I despise them especially when I donβt have email set up on all my devices, and donβt want to log into the web version.
@Burk email: ππ»
text: ππ» (but it has been unreliable from some sites in the past for meβmaybe my cell provider?) Also, it is a security issue when cell numbers are βbumpedβ though.

What I really hate are sites that wonβt let you use a password manager. The worst is jstor.org which clears out the username and password fields as soon as Keychain populates them.
@JohnPhilpin Yes! I have an algorithm for passwords that I commonly use. The ones that I rarely use are the problematic ones and like to have a code sent for those. As I get older it will probably be difficult to remember any of them.
