@Burk as a developer— love a magic link. I’ll never let users set passwords again. It’s log in with Google/Microsoft/whatver oauth or openid provider or magic link for life.

What I really hate are sites that won’t let you use a password manager. The worst is jstor.org which clears out the username and password fields as soon as Keychain populates them.

@JohnPhilpin Yes! I have an algorithm for passwords that I commonly use. The ones that I rarely use are the problematic ones and like to have a code sent for those. As I get older it will probably be difficult to remember any of them.

@Burk For me personally, a BIG. 👎🏻 But I get that it's safer for some users (who don't use password managers), and I get why devs don't want to deal with our passwords. But if so, please let us use other sign in options.
