My upgrade to Fantastical 3 has not gone well. I don’t have a key for version 2 as I bought on the Mac App Store and my 14 day subscription has instantly expired and I cant even buy one!
@adamprocter Oh dear. I wondered how they are doing these version 2 updates. I'm surprised they didn't push a new app to the store to help avoid upgrade issues. My Apple watch app has been terrible.
@ChrisJWilson maybe they will I don’t know. My phone auto updated which was bumpy. I managed to get trial working I had to sign out and back into site and then I could add my bank card
@adamprocter @Chrisjwilson I guess it’s time to research other calendar apps. Fantastical 3 definitely has great features (I’m working through MacSparky’s field guide) - I just don’t need enough of those features to justify $40/yr. For the same reason, I could never pull the $50 trigger on Fantastical 2 for Mac.
@dgreene196 Oh Ill go and check that guide out too, I suspect I could do with using more of its power, Ive always had and love Fantastical so I’m going to sign up on the yearly thing, I don’t think I could go back to outlook or iCal now even if I wanted to
@ChrisJWilson I jumped the gun the mac app store version is now updated and I have switched back to that one ! whoops, anyway I am all signed up for now, so I am not sure what would have happened had I just waiting and updated the MAS version first, my own fault for not knowing where I get the software from !
