Today marks my first year living an alcohol-free life, and I did something different to celebrate: I got purple highlights. 💜🥳

@jean awesome, fine work! I’m about a year in as well and through long periods of abstinence in the past I know well the rewards. This time I will be experiencing those rewards permanently, along with fine folks like yourself! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
@jean Good on you. I stopped temporarily decades ago when hanging out with someone in AA. Realised I was happy with that and haven't gone back to alcohol since (bar a very rare sip-this-to-taste-it sip). It's also so cool to explore non-alcohol drink choices.
@Miraz I have become a zero-proof cocktail artist this year. I’ll post a photo of my bar sometime. 🍸🍹(emojis are naturally alcohol free, of course)

@jean Congrats! I’ve stopped drinking outside of special occasions. I’m only about three months into it, but I already see physical and mental benefits. So happy for your milestone!
