@elliotali This is an interesting question because we are considering support for Ivory… but without boosting! 🙂 I'm curious, how important is boosting? If Ivory worked with Micro.blog without all Mastodon features, would you still like to use it?

@manton If Ivory worked with Micro.blog without all the features, I'd be over the moon. And whilst I love Micro.blog, there's a sort of element of isolation. It doesn't feel as interactive or rich here, with the same followers, as a mastodon instance did. I can't work it out.

@elliotali Thanks! Some of it might be that boosts are hidden from the timeline, so following the same people will generally be less busy.

@manton thanks! I'll keep an eye out for that, see if that's it. I love micro.blog really, it serves a great middle ground for me. The Ivory app really removed all of the papercuts from using mastodon, and I think it could do the same for micro.blog. There's no point reinventing the wheel as they say (although I suspect the guys over there did a LOT of work to make the app so smooth, rich and intuitive). Little things like the feed load-more button on the micro.blog app get in the way of just spending 15 mins browsing in an evening.

@elliotali @manton This would be huge, I’d use Ivory in a heartbeat for this!

@elliotali @manton @pimoore I'd be remiss if I didn't also throw my vote into this discussion. +1 for Ivory, even (or especially) without boosts!

@manton I would love to see Ivory support with or without boosting. I do think boosting would be great to help discover new people to follow and interesting topics from folks I’m not following.
