I do wish push notifications for micro.blog mentions would work :( @manton do not appear on Mac iPad or iOS

@adamprocter There are no push notifications on Mac, but for iOS it should be working. Try going into the Micro.blog settings on iOS and disabling and re-enabling the push notifications for your account.

@manton I have done this a number of times will try again on both iPhone and iPad

@manton i think it is now working as I turned it on and off inside the app itself not the iOS settings - i dont think I realised that was an option in app before…

@ArnoldHoogerwerf @adamprocter Do you frequently use multiple iOS devices? Thinking it might be related to that, I'm looking into it again.

@manton I only have two devices and switching it on and off in the app has worked! Siri just spoke reply to me I feel so happy 🤪

@manton I may have restored from an iPhone backup to a new iPhone a few times and then not unchecked / checked the notifications switch inside the app. But with other apps notifications keep working, so assumed it would work the same with the Micro.blog app.

@ArnoldHoogerwerf @adamprocter I’ll have a look at this also as it was happening with mine too — I think it would be better to prompt for push notifications when you go to your Mentions tab instead of upfront at app start (when not set). Although the app should be triggering to send your device push token after login CC: @manton

@adamprocter I didn't even know there were notifications; they've never worked
