After hitting my head against the wall for weeks trying to solve a coding problem, finally asked for help. 30 minutes later it was solved.
@manton I know this feeling all too well. One of the policies at Fog Creek was “don’t work alone”; while asking for help when I was stuck took me while to get used to (I’d always been the solo developer before that and just worked through frustration), wow did it help me a lot!
@manton do you work on my dev team, they’reall the same 🤣 No harm asking for help though, although have to admit it feels good to solve the problem
