@manton -- I just went to the feeds page and see that i can use micro.blog to cross-post to various places, including Threads.

So I tried configuring Threads, which is kind of my holy grail right now, and got an error.

@dave Oh sorry, until we get approved by Meta, I have to manually add people. I’ll invite you. I have a backlog of a few folks to add too.

@manton -- btw, maybe i should create another account, just for the threads connection. i want to hook it up to my linkblogging app, via the RSS feed it produces, and have everything I post there mirrored to threads to take advantage of your great work. this would just be for me for now. or is there a way to hook just an RSS feed up to one output channel?

@dave You should be able to do all of that under a single account. On the Feeds page, you can have multiple RSS feeds and each one is configured to cross-post to a different set of services.

@manton -- excellent -- maybe i'll make the first product that requires a micro.blog account. or are there others??

@dave Cool! Nothing that specifically works with feeds and cross-posting like that, although there are a few client apps for browsing the timeline, etc.
