@maique Oh no, don’t tempt me! 😬 I’m running the (excellent) MimeStream beta on my Mac and I’ve been looking for something equally good on iOS (I use the stock Mail app). Guess I’ll have to explore Canary now. 🙃

@maique Oh gosh, I know what you mean. Does Spark (or Canary, for that matter) run your email through their own servers? That’s what keeps me from trying many of these other email apps.
@AngeloStavrow Both of these will hold some of your mail and/or credentials if you use certain functionally. Like push notifications. It’s why I haven’t used these apps as well.
@maique @rcg @gpittman Right, that’s what I thought. I know Readdle has been around for a long time and I’ve no reason to suspect any kind of mailicious intent from either them or the org behind Canary! I think that as an email user I’m pretty boring (check it a few times a day, without the need for anything beyond simple drafting/replying/forwarding), so these power features aren’t meant for me — and therefore I personally don’t feel comfortable handing over access to my email just to use a different client.
