Managing uploads in Micro.blog manton.org
@manton looks great! I use the web interface almost exclusively and putting multiple pics in a single post has been a bit of a hassle so far.
@tones Thanks! I'd like to do more to make that easier (maybe checkboxes to select multiple photos to turn into a new draft).

@manton Hi, thanks again for Micro.blog, enjoing it and rooting for it! Question: any thoughts or plans on image resize/compression options with uploads? This image alexsavin.micro.blog/2018/09/1... is over 4mb, appearing at 452px wide on my timeline.
@arturi Wow, I'm surprised that image is so big. Did you upload it from the web or native apps? It was resized to 1800 pixels wide, but maybe not compressed enough.
@manton not me, that’s @alexsavin. ok, so there is resizing/compression in place, I was just curious how image uploads work 👌
@arturi Oh whoops, thank you. In a nutshell: the apps try to scale down photos a little, but big enough so they are still about 3x what the timeline shows. When I post from iOS, photos are usually about 450k.
