I might finally have to start caring about PDFs and ePubs. What are your favorite iPad apps for highlighting and quote/saving portions of these files (including ePub!) to search/copy/paste later. #Apple #iPadApps #PDF #ePub

@chartier Please share what you find out. I’m curious as well.

@chartier I read PDF textbooks and journals. Right now I’m using LiquidText for my use case: highlighting, extracting passages to make notes etc

@Jimhawjr Ooh, looks like an interesting app. Have you used ePubs with it? I can’t get them to open, although I am also only on the free version for now. I’m asking support, as I have seen elsewhere it does ePub too.

@chartier looks like it can’t open epub. I’m on the LiquidText Live version.

The apps that I have that can open both PDF and ePub are MarginNote and Notability. I use MarginNote 4 for my other PDF annotation needs usually journals I like to read but not part of any planned research protocol.
