Any #music nerds familiar with electronic and sample culture here? I’m curious how songs like this get made. I love #Proleter btw, check out all his stuff, generally called electro-swing and swing hop:

Obviously based on old tracks, but they sound crisp and brand new. Do artists like this recreate samples or entire progressions with modern audio gear? Hire musicians or a small orchestra? Somehow clean up the old stuff?
