Prove me wrong but it seems Apple have been working for years on CSAM this is not going to be stopped. I utterly see this as a violation of human rights. And don’t tell me to buy another phone. After this any devices not implemented CSAM will be regarded as dodgy “burner” phones
@adamprocter acchhh dismaying that Apple have calculated so long on pushing through surveillance via a red-button social issue. Apple have such an inconsistent record on values, no one should believe justice & principles is the sole motive here. | Good job I’ve got a head-start on switching to a BURNER! Nothing dodgy about a T9 keypad IMO, more reliable if anything. | In all seriousness, @simonwoods has identified Punkt MP02 as a solid privacy choice with Signal.
