Vincent Ritter has launched Build with Micro.blog, a new unofficial site with API documentation, example apps, and much more. Our official documentation is so sparse that it’s not obvious how far-reaching the scope of the API actually is. This site really shows it.

@manton Very cool, although if it gets good enough is it good to have two sources at that point? Or, maybe API documentation is the kind of tedium worth throwing an LLM at 🤔

@bax Yeah, we’ve talked about maybe merging this into the official docs in the future. For now, it’s an experiment. I’ve been trying to avoid maintaining multiple sites… I think the help forums need a rethink too. For LLMs, it would be cool to have a single Markdown file with everything.

@bax @manton — I am trying to lure Manton into it haha. You can point an LLM at the site and it should figure stuff out. Just before I was thinking of exploring a SKILL.md of some sort you can use.

@manton if there was ever a site to add llms.txt support to this is it! @vincent I think that would be a huge win. Services that provide robust and easy docs to coding agents are going to grow faster. Tinylytics docs could also get llms.txt option.

@jthingelstad Tinylytics docs has full llms and llms-full.txt support (linked to on the homepage and docs page in the sidebar). Each doc page can also be viewed in Markdown. I wonder how relevant these are though, because an LLM is capable of reading and browsing the sites anyway.

@jthingelstad OK, so now llms.txt and llms-full.txt has been implemented on Build for Micro.blog. Also each API page now has a full .md page. ✌️
