I have commented on this before … but its getting old, sonears repeating, there are a couple of dragts actions that are broken ever since MicroBlog updated to v3. i have deleted old actions and reinstalled … the problem persists.
Create a post in drafts .. that includes a URL .. in drafts it looks fine … and then run the action … the post appears … but any links are now broken. not sure what the fix is … and is it just me?
the actions in question are old ones that greg wrote from 4 or 5 years ago. When i run the post/update action … I don’t have the problem.

@JohnPhilpin try the one by @donnydavis. Works for me. He’s working on some cross-posting glitches but otherwise works great.
@pratik yes I love the @donnydavis action and have been using it … just a little overkill for some of the posts … but that might be the solution.
That said, interesting you mention the cross post issues …. Because yes … I am seeing those … not really sure what the rules are … but in the action I see all the options … and can check on and off … but my cross posting is off in MicroBlog … so options look like they work … but don’t … if that makes sense.
Have to say with the gamut of cross post options ee we now have … his action is the only easy way to selectively choose cross posting by post.
@JohnPhilpin Might need more specifics. What action are you using? Is is the "Post to Micro.blog" example I did that uses Micropub API (https://directory.getdrafts.com/a/1Dj)? How are you formatting the link and how is it "broken"?
@Agiletortoise thankyou for responding Greg … I THINK this is a MicroBlog issue and have logged with @manton … I will send a status summary to you and @manton later today … I can confirm that the action works on a Mac, breaks under iOS and always worked in both places until the microblog upgrade to v3.
@Agiletortoise just sent an email to you and @manton - and ran 8 tests to reveal the problem. Hope the email helps.
@JohnPhilpin Hey, @manton - it does appear the issue is the iOS app decoding of URL arguments has changes. At least %3A is not getting decoded to : as it should. Test with: microblog://post?text=%3A
@manton all good - at least we know - and will that update include the deleting text problem

@JohnPhilpin @manton @Agiletortoise – hope I have fixed this now, with the HTML colon. Should be in the next iOS app update.
