Coffee and overnight oats at Cat & Cloud. Great start to the workday. ☕️
@manton They were one of my favorite coffee shops when I was living in the SF Bay Area, even though I was “over the hill” in the South Bay.
@manton -- that looks delicious. ☕️
so are you working on the road? is this something you do a lot or is it an experiment? i did it for a while myself a long time ago, but rarely for programming.
@dave I'm working on the road for about 2 weeks, almost wrapped up. This is totally new for me. It has been great, but the timing was not perfect with all the Twitter craziness. 🙂
@manton -- heh. i feel that. i look forward to when you get back in the flow and can focus more on this. your product is in a very interesting place and you've pioneered at least one thing that i think is revolutionary (the thing we're working on in the other thread). I think these opportunities will be here for quite some time. the challenge will be to get people to see the value in the ideas.
@manton the drink is dangerously close to the laptop. Still rocking 16 inch Intel model, nice.
@SimonWoods 🤣 I’d say “sure, but first wait 4 weeks and do a detox, then send me your TED talk”
@borisyurkevich Yep, still happy with the 16-inch Intel. Think it'll hold up another couple years... unless I spill coffee on it.
@manton Have you ever tried one of those clear plastic/rubbery keyboard shields? I wonder if it’s mostly a gimmick. ⌨️☕️
@odd Naw, I spill a drink on my laptop once in a decade, so not really worth it. But I don't use a case on my phone either. 🙂
@manton If you still type and do keyboard shortcuts as fast as you did in 1994 no keyboard shield would withstand the punishment.
