Donāt Judge Me.
I didnāt count, but I think I just unsubscribed from around 50 newsletters.
That is the downside of StoopInbox and Substack - the subscribe is so easy!

@JohnPhilpin Iām always very optimistic with myself regarding the newsletters I subscribe to, the podcasts I subscribe to, the books I want to read and add to my āto readā list. In the end, though, I guess Iām only human and. ever get to catch up⦠maybe I need to start being more selectiveā¦
Someone just signed up for my newsletter ⦠I now feel a lot better about how many newsletters I was/am subscribed to!

@JohnPhilpin I make myself feel better about the quantity I follow by subscribing via RSS š Substack and buttondown have feeds for their newsletters. That said, my blogroll is feeling out of control so I think itās time to pare back.
@tracydurnell oh my rss world is even more problematic⦠I have th m organized into several folders⦠And about half of those folders are opened once a month!
@danielsantos @JohnPhilpin I use Feedly - donāt love it but it serves its purpose well enough that Iāve been on it since Google Reader šŖ¦
@tracydurnell yes .. post google reader I explored and settled on feedly ⦠and like a lot. Eventually moved away because they were getting too complex for my needs. What they were doing was really interesting .. but just OTT for my needs .. which are more than met by what NetNewsWire does.
@JohnPhilpin Feedlyās vibe recently feels a little business-y for my tastes, but I canāt begrudge them going after whatever market they think will be profitable š¤·āāļø
@tracydurnell agreed .. but it is probably that observation that made me move ⦠for intelligent surfacing of articles that are useful for teams in business ⦠have to say ⦠quite brilliant.
