Don’t Judge Me.

I didn’t count, but I think I just unsubscribed from around 50 newsletters.

That is the downside of StoopInbox and Substack - the subscribe is so easy!

@JohnPhilpin I'm always very optimistic with myself regarding the newsletters I subscribe to, the podcasts I subscribe to, the books I want to read and add to my "to read" list. In the end, though, I guess I'm only human and. ever get to catch up... maybe I need to start being more selective...

Someone just signed up for my newsletter ... I now feel a lot better about how many newsletters I was/am subscribed to!

@JohnPhilpin I make myself feel better about the quantity I follow by subscribing via RSS 😂 Substack and buttondown have feeds for their newsletters. That said, my blogroll is feeling out of control so I think it's time to pare back.

@danielsantos @JohnPhilpin I use Feedly - don't love it but it serves its purpose well enough that I've been on it since Google Reader 🪦

@tracydurnell yes .. post google reader I explored and settled on feedly … and like a lot. Eventually moved away because they were getting too complex for my needs. What they were doing was really interesting .. but just OTT for my needs .. which are more than met by what NetNewsWire does.

@JohnPhilpin Feedly's vibe recently feels a little business-y for my tastes, but I can't begrudge them going after whatever market they think will be profitable 🤷‍♀️

@tracydurnell agreed .. but it is probably that observation that made me move … for intelligent surfacing of articles that are useful for teams in business … have to say … quite brilliant.
