Bookmark improvements for AI, browsers manton.org
@manton Please make any LLM/‘ai’ feature opt-in. I want nothing to do with that stuff, and I perceive Mb to be a reprieve from typical empty Silicon Valley trends.
@torb Thanks, good to know. It is hidden by default. (And might not stick around as a feature long term, I'm not sure yet.)
@manton Quick question about the extension for bookmarks. It only allows you to 'save' URL to the Bookmarks page, right? It doesn't solve what @cygnoir was talking about last week, right? On Arc (basically Chrome), it opens a new tab and once you save the URL as a bookmark, it goes back to the original URL page.
@manton And I love the AI summaries for the Bookmarks. It's not posting it to your blog so should allay peoples' fears about promoting creation of AI content on the web.
