š¾ Sometimes Iād like to engage with online communities on specific topics. Discord feels too overwhelming and noisy (inherent to chat tools, I guess). Reddit, in theory, should be a sweet spot - but again so many distractions. Matrix, IRC, email - feel too clunky. š¤·š»āāļø Digital introvert problems.
Giving reddit a more serious try. I never did before. Started with leaving a gazillion communities that I was probably joined to automatically. Now keeping them <10. Also removed recommendations in the feed. It's already a lot more relevant.
@jeroensangers The main ones are gaming, gamedev, sffpc. The second tier is productivity, ObsidianMD and agile. Time will tell what will stick, but Iām pretty sure on the top 3.
