@toddgrotenhuis ok how did I miss this. How does respond via twitter work ?

@Munish sorry, not fully yet, but I crosspost and have bridgy enabled, so long posts will get webmentions.

@Munish short posts (no URL) and book posts (which count as a mention for @manton) do not get webmentions via twitter bridgy.

@toddgrotenhuis Ooh Brid.gy is working for long posts? Might be time for me to reconnect it!

@kimberlyhirsh I think so. I’ve seen some strange behavior on m.b interpretation of the webmentions, but I think that’s been with activitypub/mastodon webmentions.

@toddgrotenhuis i appreciate this. I have a follow up question, specifically about your usage of Craft. Trying to understand the differences between Craft Space vs iCloud space, apart from the obvious of storage. Have you come across this?

@Munish My main Craft space is for daily tasks, professional notes, and quick capture.

I also have a Craft space for the household, which is used for shared documents, notes, and projects.

I also create custom spaces (or just a shared doc in my main space) for sharing with others. (For example, we have a space for the crew I am playing RPGs with).

Craft storage is just for docs and their attachments (of which some are visible in the doc directly, like images and pdfs).

@toddgrotenhuis thank so much. I was just trying to figure out if there are any other benefits, beyond privacy to use iCloud. Is Craft now end to end encrypted ?

@Munish oh I see what you are asking, sorry!

You can use you own storage (including a sync service) to get full end to end encryption, but you lose access to the publish and collaboration features for that space.

You can have spaces that use their sync/storage as well as those that are in your own.
