Didn’t realize until reading this blog post from the Fediverse Report that much of the new migration to Bluesky is from Japan. Seems significant as Twitter X was always popular in Japan.
@manton I kind of like this development, it is like the early days of social media, where Orkut was big in Brazil, there was IRC-Galleria in Finland and many others
@manton I haven’t really noticed any significant shift away from Xitter here in Japan but again I’m not the most avid follower of social media trends.
