@mbkriegh It’s a very readable biography of the English poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

The author Fiona Sampson is also a poet. I’ve read and enjoyed her book on Mary Shelley and heard her speak on several book/poetry related podcasts and radio programmes, so was expecting good things 😊

I knew very little about Barrett Browning before reading the book and haven’t read much of her poetry so it was an informative introduction.
