@TheDimPause Thanks for the link. I shared it on the SestraCast twitter. Leda is the name given to the clone line of the protagonists in Orphan Black, which is the topic of our podcast. The other line is Castor, and there are a lot of swan references too!
@macgenie Did that link go through properly - when I looked at it the Markdown I forwarded from Pinboard was a little messed up - have now corrected it!
@macgenie Worth searching for! The frescoes they are uncovering at Pompeii at the moment are really impressive, so detailed, well-preserved and colourful.
@TheDimPause Seriously impressive to see this work re-emerge after centuries! For your reference, here's my tweet: twitter.com/SestraCas... The Leda theme has been woven through the series, and I really like that.
@macgenie Thank you - but sorry to say that I've never watched Orphan Black. I may be tempted ...
@TheDimPause You would really like it, the first two seasons were stellar, hits a sophmore slump after that
@TheDimPause No need to apologize! If you decide to give it a try, you'll already know about Leda and the Swan.
My Intro to Orphan Black pro tip: watch the first three minutes. If that doesn't grab you, then you'll know it's not for you. ๐ค
@macgenie @jgmac1106 Revisiting for a status update ๐ I've lasted more than three minutes - have now watched the first four episodes. I'm enjoying it, finding it interesting and fast paced, with a lot happening each episode. A little daunted by the fact that there are 46 more episodes ahead of me; I don't tend to binge watch series so this may last me some time!
